The Athena Mentoring Programme

The Athena Mentoring Programme is back! After a successful launch in January 2021, WICT Europe are happy to announce that applications for the programme will open in September. The programme will provide members with an opportunity for networking, career and personal development, enhanced leadership and the ability for both mentors and mentees to learn from each other’s experiences. 

The programme aligns with WICT Europe’s mission, dedicated to advancing diversity, inclusion and equality in the tech industry. Next to our tailored events calendar, we believe that there is no better way to increase development, than through a partnership with an experienced industry leader.

Member development is very important to WICT Europe, in addition to providing a platform to learn, network and celebrate success. We are delighted to encourage development opportunities, through our cross-company mentoring programme. Better yet, our mentors represent some of largest tech companies in Europe and have a diverse range of business backgrounds, suited to different needs.

All WICT Europe members are eligible to receive mentoring. Mentees will need to complete the dedicated application form, clearly providing their motivation for applying to the programme. Matching will be based upon recognised developmental areas, career aspirations and mentor experience. Please note that there are a limited number of spaces, so we encourage our members to consider their application thoughtfully.

Each mentoring partnership will last for a period of six months. If you are successful in your application, you will be invited to a compulsory information session, where you will meet your mentor.
