Anne has about 17 years of experience in building and strengthening ecosystems for (deep) tech startups and technological innovation.
Currently she is heading the Deep Tech domain of Techleap.nl which is a non-profit, publicly-funded organisation that helps to build a thriving startup ecosystem in the Netherlands.
Anne graduated from Utrecht University with a master’s degree in Economic Geography (innovation clusters) in 2004. Thereafter she started her career as part of a small core team that founded YES!Delft, one of the most successful tech incubators of Europe.
After 7 years she left YES!Delft and started as a freelance consultant and entrepreneurship expert. She was involved in setting up new initiatives for a range of organizations and triple helix cooperations. Her clients include Quantum Delta, Innovatiepact Fryslân, Institute for Sustainable Process Technology, Buccaneer Delft and The Green Village.
In 2020, Anne joined Techleap.nl. She set the strategic agenda focusing on ‘science-to-impact’. With a team of experts, she works with regional partners to improve conditions for knowledge transfer, setting up learning communities of regional incubators and offering a top-tier sector-based program for (deep) tech startups facing the long and misty valley of death.
She is a strong believer in the strength and innovative power of The Netherlands, in cooperation, empowerment of women, fair distribution of wealth and is passionate about empowering people to develop themselves and create their own route to success.
